Thank you for purchasing the Azden SGM-P II
microphone. Designed for video and audio pro-
fessionals, the SGM-P II is a uni-directional shotgun
microphone with a wide frequency response and low
noise levels.
Power:
The SGM-P II must be powered by Phantom-
Power. To power the unit, connect an XLR cable to
the microphone from a voltage source that supplies
between 11 and 52VDC. (see wiring diagram below)
MIC Output:
The SGM-P II has a balanced 3-pin XLR
connector.
Shoe-Mount Holder:
The SGM-P II is supplied with a camera-
mountable mic holder. Snap the near portion of the
microphone into the holder. To secure the holder,
slide the holder into the camera shoe and tighten the
thumbwheel by turning it clockwise.
