Setting the Date and Time
1. Choose [MENU]Ú<TIMECODE/TIME>.
2. Touch <DATE & TIME>.
The calendar and clock setting screen will appear.

3. Specify the date and time.
Touch each item, and use to set the date and time.
4. When you’ve nished setting all items, touch <OK>.
By touching <CANCEL> you can return to the previous screen
without making settings.
5. Press the [MENU] (HOME) button to return to the home
screen.
You can also return to the home screen by touching a number
of times.
SD Card
The R-88 stores recorded data on the SD card.
Inserting an SD Card
1. Make sure that the power is o.
2. Open the Rubber ap located on the left side panel.
* The cover may break if you use excessive force.
3. Insert the SD card.
With the label surface of the SD card facing upward, insert it gently.

NOTE
• Forcibly inserting the SD card in the wrong orientation may
damage the R-88 or the SD card. Please use caution.
• Press the SD card rmly all the way in.
4. Close the Rubber ap.
5. Switch on the power (p. 25).
MEMO
If an unformatted SD card is inserted in the R-88, the screen will
indicate “SD Unformatted.”
