Zooming
Approximate zoom speeds (grip zoom rocker)
* When the zoom speed is too fast (less than 2 seconds end-to-end), the camcorder will have more trouble focusing automatically
while zooming.
Using the Handle Zoom Rocker
Use the ZOOM SPEED switch and functions in the [l Camera Setup]
[Zoom] submenus to set the zoom speed.
Move the zoom rocker toward Q to zoom out (wide-angle) and
toward
P to zoom in (telephoto).
Setting the Zoom Speed
Refer to the following table for approximate zoom speeds of the entire
zoom range (end to end).
1 Set the ZOOM SPEED switch to H or L.
Move the ZOOM SPEED switch to OFF to deactivate the zoom
rocker on the handle. In such case, the rest of this procedure is not
necessary.
2 Open the zoom [Speed Level] submenu.

3 Select [Fast], [Normal] or [Slow] and then press SET.
4 Open the zoom [Handle Rocker] submenu.
